Cross-wiki global watchlists
Meta-wiki and other smaller Wikimedia wikis would get a lot more traffic if there were cross-wiki global watchlists.

Meta-Wiki, where ideas go to die
If you want to get some in-depth participation in Meta-Wiki projects, move all of Meta-Wiki to the Wikimedia Commons or English Wikipedia. The Commons gets a lot of participation from editors worldwide. English Wikipedia has even more editors from around the world. Meta has far fewer editors from around the world, and few people check their Meta watchlist after awhile. Someday, cross-wiki watchlists may solve the problem.
