Prodaphaenus (Prodafaenus — „prije Dafoenusa”) je izumrli rod placentalni sisara iz kladusa Carnivoraformes, koji je u periodu srednjeg eocena nastanjivao područje Sjeverne Amerike.[2][3][4][5][6][7]

urediRod Prodaphaenus je u prošlosti bio uvrštavan kao podrod unutar roda Miacis, ali je kasnije prepoznat kao zaseban rod kladusa Carnivoraformes.[9]
