Kenet Klark (istoričar umetnosti)

Kenet Klark, baron Klark (engl. Kenneth Mackenzie Clark; 13. jul 1903, London — 21. maj 1983, Hajt) bio je britanski istoričar umetnosti, direktor muzeja i televizijski menadžer i autor.

Bio je sin bogatih roditelja i rano je počeo da uči o umetnosti. Došao je pod uticaj eksperta i trgovca umetninama Bernarda Berensona i sa 27 godina postao direktor muzeja Ešmolijen u Oksfordu. Tri godine kasnije postao je direktor Nacionalne galerije u Londonu, u periodu od 1933. do 1945. godine.

Posle rata radio je kao profesor na Univerzitetu u Oksfordu (1946—1950), a onda je preuzeo odgovornost upravnika prve britanske komercijalne televizije (ITA). Za ovu televiziju i za BBC je kasnije bio autor programa o umetnosti. Najpoznatiji od ovih programa bila je serija „Civilizacija: lični pogled Keneta Klarka” (1966–1969).
