Ksaliproden (SR57746) je lek koji deluje kao 5HT_1A agonist.^[1] On ima neurotrofno i neuroprotektivno dejstvo in vitro,^[2]^[3] i predložen je kao potencijalni tretman za nekoliko neurodegenerativnih oboljenja, među kojima su amiotrofična lateralna skleroza (ALS)^[4] i Alchajmerova bolest.^[5]
